Blake Monroe’s glamorous image may be the first thing fans notice when she appears on WWE NXT, but the rising star says there’s a darker side to her character that can surface when she’s pushed too far.

During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, Monroe opened up about the alter ego she calls the “Woman From Hell.” The concept has become part of her presentation in NXT, representing the aggressive and unpredictable side of her personality that contrasts with her polished “Glamour” persona. When asked to explain what the “Woman From Hell” represents, Monroe described it as the opposite of a protective presence — a darker force that emerges when she reaches her limit.

“I would think of it as a guardian angel, but the opposite.”

Monroe went on to explain that she prefers to maintain the confident and glamorous image that fans usually see on television. However, she admitted that she isn’t perfect and that the darker side of her character is something she can’t completely suppress.

“And I don’t like being the woman from hell. I don’t like it when that side of me comes out. I am a WWE superstar. I’m going to be the face of WWE. I don’t want to show that dark side of me. I want to be perfect. I want to be polished. But unfortunately I’m not. I am flawed. And I do have that inside of me.”

According to Monroe, that darker version of herself doesn’t appear without reason. She made it clear that opponents who continue to push her will eventually bring it out.

“And when certain people push me to a point, that is going to come out. She asked for this, which I think is really bold of her. But if that’s what she wants, it’s what she’s going to get.”

The storyline element adds to Monroe’s character as she continues building her presence in NXT. With rivalries intensifying and stakes rising, fans may see more of that darker side emerge as Monroe attempts to establish herself as one of the division’s top stars.
