Bischoff says he doesn’t think that’s necessary at all because few managers have actually served a real purpose. Unless you’re Cornette, Heenan or Heyman, you’re just a distraction and in today’s world it’s just an extra expense.
Another listener writes into the show and asks Bischoff for his opinions on vignettes. He says his opinion on vignettes varies based on how well they’re done. They can’t be poorly produced filler material, but if it adds to the development of a character, then he’s all for it.
