Hausman mentions that Big Show had one of the best matches of his career this past Monday night against Braun Strowman. Bischoff says he’s not surprised by this because when Show is motivated, he’s able to turn it on with the best of them.
Bischoff elaborates by saying that when Big Show was in WCW he was very emotional and would go from being very motivated to less than motivated on the flip of a dime. Vince McMahon scooped in, offered him $1 Million a year for the next 10 years and brought him to WWE, where Bischoff noticed a similar pattern of behaviour from Show over the years. Regardless of all this, Show is a great person who can go with the best of them when he’s determined to do so.
Hausman asks Bischoff about the iconic NWO parody of the Four Horsemen that occurred on an episode of Monday Nitro in September, 1999. He says this was a planned segment, and anyone who argues that is simply wrong.
He admits that this resulted in some legitimate heat from Arn Anderson and Ric Flair, who were personally offended by some of the things the NWO said that night. Bischoff says he regrets allowing some of those things to be said, because there are ways to get heat without hurting other members of the roster.
