Bischoff on Wrestling Recap – His 1999 Firing From WCW, Biggest Financial Bust in WCW, Thoughts on GFW Drama, More!

Bischoff says that after he sat back and did the calculations, he realized he had nearly $2 Million coming to him over the next two years and he still had a private plane at his disposal as well. He suddenly became very comfortable with not having to be at television tapings every week.

Hausman asks Bischoff if he was ever scheduled to have a role in the movie ‘Ready to Rumble’. Bischoff says that it was actually him who negotiated the development of this film, and he confirms that he was supposed to have a role in the film. For better or worse, that never came to be.

A listener writes into the show and asks Bischoff who he thinks would have been a bigger star in WCW if they would have jumped ship, The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels. Bischoff thinks Shawn Michaels probably would have been the bigger star in WCW because of his previous connection to Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

Another listener writes into the show and asks Bischoff who was the biggest bust out of all the talents he signed over the years. Bischoff says The Warrior would probably be the biggest bust financially, and the Ted Dibiase signing didn’t work out very well either.

That sums up today’s episode of Bischoff on Wrestling. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
