WWE is bringing major heat to San Antonio this Friday night, as John Cena and Cody Rhodes are set to come face-to-face in a high-stakes contract signing for their SummerSlam rematch.

The showdown is locked in for the July 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where Cena and Rhodes will officially sign on the dotted line for their Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2025—a rematch from WrestleMania 41 that’s got fans fired up.

WWE confirmed the segment on Thursday with a preview on WWE.com, teasing a tense atmosphere as both men step into the ring together.

“The WrestleMania rematch pitting Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena against Cody Rhodes is set for SummerSlam,” the announcement reads. “The self-professed ‘Last Real Champion’ and The American Nightmare will make their match official this Friday at 8 ET/7 CT on SmackDown on USA.”
