Big E had a very scary moment during last week’s WWE SmackDown. The former WWE Champion took a bump directly on his head while fighting outside the ring with Ridge Holland. It was later revealed that Big E suffered a broken neck in the accident.

Hospital bed videos indicated that Big E was in good spirits. The New Day member later revealed that there was no damage to his spine. It was the best possible scenario for a terrifying injury that could have been a guaranteed career-ender. Big E will at least have a chance to recover due to the nature of the break.

Big E was recently offered some assistance while in Birmingham recovering. E responded that he is now back home in Tampa. That is incredible news for a man who just days earlier fractured his C-1 and C-6 vertebrae.

"Appreciate you, man. I’m actually home now but Birmingham took good care of me."

It was the kind of accident that sometimes happens in wrestling. Big E knows how lucky he is to have survived without any spinal damage. Now, the rehabilitation will begin.

Big E is in excellent shape and one of the strongest members of the WWE roster. If anyone can kick out from a broken neck and make a comeback, it is him. Everyone at Ringside News is wishing Big E a speedy and full recovery.
