Big E is heading back to where it all began.
FOX announced that the WWE Superstar and former Powerhouse of Positivity will appear as the official guest on this Saturday’s episode of Big Noon Kickoff. The show is set to broadcast live from Iowa City ahead of the major college football clash between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Oregon Ducks.
Before his WWE fame, Big E—real name Ettore Ewen—played football at the University of Iowa in 2006. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, making this return to Iowa City something personal for him.
He made sure to share just how meaningful this appearance is, writing, “Cannot wait to be back in Iowa City to cheer on my Hawks!”
The matchup is a big one: Iowa enters the game ranked 20th with a 6-2 record, while Oregon sits at 9th in the nation with a strong 7-1 record. According to betting odds, Oregon is currently the favorite to win.
Big E’s return adds a powerful jolt of hometown pride to Saturday’s game-day energy—both for fans of college football and the WWE Universe.
