Bianca Belair hasn’t wrestled a single match since WrestleMania 41—but she’s still expected to be part of WrestleMania 42.
Despite being sidelined for nearly a year due to a serious finger injury, Belair is locked in for WWE’s biggest show of the year. During a February 9, 2026 Self Made Session, Self Made Pro revealed that WWE sources confirmed Belair is “expected to be on the WrestleMania show.” Whether she’s booked in a match or returning in a different capacity remains a mystery—but her presence in Las Vegas looks guaranteed.
“In speaking with WWE sources, what was relayed to me is that Bianca Belair is expected to be on the WrestleMania show. Whether that’s in a wrestling capacity or making a return on the show itself was something they declined to comment on to me. I said, ‘Hey, is it a return angle? Is she booked for a match?’ I believe they absolutely know what the answer is, but they didn’t want to tell me. So there you go—Bianca Belair is expected to be at WrestleMania.”
The report comes just weeks after Belair offered fans a personal update on her recovery via Instagram Stories. On January 1, 2026, she posted a series of up-close photos showing the injured finger that’s kept her out of action since WrestleMania 41. The shots revealed both the severity of the injury and signs of healing.
This isn’t the first time Belair’s opened up about her condition. In November, she appeared on BET’s 106 & Sports and revealed that the injury wasn’t just a simple finger break—it involved her knuckle joint and was far more severe than first believed.
“So I broke my knuckle — which is not my finger — I broke my knuckle joint. It’s something that I thought was gonna be a very straightforward, eight to 12 weeks. It’s been almost six months at this point.”
Belair originally got hurt during a vicious top-rope triple German suplex involving Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41.
“Rhea landed straight on my hand and just crushed everything in my finger,” she recalled.
Despite not wrestling since April, Belair did make an appearance at WWE Evolution as a special guest referee for Jade Cargill vs. Naomi—hinting at WWE’s slow rollout of her return. Now with WrestleMania 42 looming, all signs point to Bianca being back on the big stage—ready or not.
Do you think Bianca Belair should wrestle at WrestleMania 42—or should WWE save her return for an even bigger surprise? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
