Bella Twins Name WWE Tag Teams They Want To Face

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella are teasing what could be next if the iconic duo reunites inside a WWE ring.

With Brie recently stepping back into the ring during the Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year, speculation has been building about a full Bella Twins reunion. Now the former champions are already talking about which teams they want to face if that return becomes reality.

During an appearance on Access Daily, Brie pointed directly at the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions as a potential target.

“So, Lash Legend and Nia Jax just won the tag team championship, so they’re right on the horizon for us. We’re eyeing them up.”

The champions she referenced are Lash Legend and Nia Jax, a powerhouse duo currently dominating the women’s tag division. Nikki then named another team she’d like to step into the ring with if the Bella Twins return.

“We’ve got Bayley and Lyra (Valkyria) I’d like to run through, a little bit.”

That pairing features Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, two of WWE’s most prominent women’s division stars. Brie also brought up another dream matchup that would pit them against one of WWE’s most decorated teams.

“Kabuki Warriors, I think would be really fun.”

The Kabuki Warriors — made up of Asuka and Kairi Sane — have long been one of the most respected teams in the division.

Nikki also explained why now might be the perfect time for the Bella Twins to return to tag competition. In her view, the current state of WWE’s women’s tag team division is stronger than it has ever been.

“It’s the best because right now in WWE, for the women’s era right now, it’s the best the tag division has ever been.”

She continued by pointing out that many of the teams currently competing have built real chemistry and stories together.

“You have legitimate tag-teams that people are invested in. So it’s like the best time to come back because it’s not like people are just being thrown together, these women have created great stories, a great foundation.”

While the Bella Twins have not officially confirmed when they will reunite for a match, their comments make it clear they already have several potential opponents in mind if they step back into WWE as a team.
