The Bella Twins aren’t staying quiet after their fan base was called out online, and they made it clear they strongly disagree with being labeled the most toxic fandom in WWE.
The situation started when an X user posted a list ranking what they called the “Top 10 Most Toxic Fan Bases in WWE,” claiming the rankings were based on their personal interactions over the past year. At the top of the list was the Bella Army, the fan base supporting Nikki and Brie Bella. The viral graphic listed several other major WWE names and fan bases as well, including:
- The Bella Army
- Cody Rhodes
- Rhea Ripley
- Sami Zayn
- CM Punk
- The Bloodline
- Liv Morgan
- Brock Lesnar
- Seth Rollins
- John Cena
After the post gained traction online, the official Nikki & Brie account responded publicly, defending their fans and pushing back hard against the claim that the Bella Army deserves that reputation.
“lol always the evil ones trying to make the light workers look ‘toxic’ If you truly took a second from your hateful headspace you would realize how beautiful the Bella Army is, how much these people are there for each other, especially against bullies worldwide.”
They continued by praising their supporters and explaining why they believe their fan base has grown so large over the years.

The original list quickly sparked conversation among fans, especially because it included several of WWE’s most popular stars and factions. Names like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, The Bloodline, and John Cena represent some of the largest fan communities in wrestling, making the rankings an easy target for debate and backlash online.
With fan bases playing a major role in today’s wrestling culture — especially across social media — lists like this tend to spark heated reactions, particularly when loyal supporters feel they’re being unfairly labeled.
