Becky Lynch’s WWE Return Still Up in the Air Ahead of Royal Rumble

Becky Lynch is still under WWE contract, but when The Man will actually return remains a mystery. With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, speculation has been running wild about whether she’ll make a surprise comeback—but WWE sources are pushing back on reports that she’ll be in Indianapolis for the event.

According to Fightful, WWE creative is still figuring out Lynch’s next move. “It’s a creative situation with her. She’s under contract, that’s confirmed, but it’s all from a creative aspect right now. It’s what’s been waiting on,” Sean Ross Sapp said on The Hump.

Lynch already re-signed with WWE earlier this month, but that didn’t mean an immediate return to TV. She’s been spotted at Netflix-related events, but insiders say that was simply to support the company, not tease a WWE angle. WWE wants her comeback to mean something, and they aren’t rushing it.

With Royal Rumble happening on February 1, a surprise appearance is still a possibility, but nothing is confirmed. If she doesn’t enter the match, fans might have to wait for RAW or SmackDown to see her back in action.
