Becky Lynch Says She’s Never Eaten Fish, Calls It ‘Disgusting’

Becky Lynch isn’t here for seafood—at all. The WWE superstar dropped that bombshell during her appearance on the Are You Garbage? podcast, where she confessed she’s gone her entire life without eating fish.

When the hosts asked about her food preferences, Becky didn’t hesitate. “I’ve never eaten fish in my life.” The hosts couldn’t believe it and pressed her on why. Becky’s answer was simple and sharp “Disgusting.”

But fish isn’t the only thing on her no-go list. Earlier in the show, Becky trashed another food item with zero hesitation. “Disgusting. Disgusting.” (on mayonnaise)

While her food dislikes are strong, Becky made sure to shine a light on the stuff she does love. When the hosts asked her about fast food favorites, Becky made it clear she’s all about Burger King. “No, no, no. I like a Burger King.”

Becky connected it to family memories, sharing how her dad’s love of Whoppers made it feel like a special dinner growing up. “My dad used to love a Whopper… he used to love a Whopper… and like we’d go and we’d get like a Whopper at Burger King… that was like our fancy dinner. And I love that. I’d get a double cheeseburger. And I still love it.”

When the conversation shifted to vegetables, Becky surprised everyone by praising deep-fried Brussels sprouts. “Deep-fried Brussels sprouts… oh my God… you might as well be eating a chicken finger.”

She joked about how horrible boiled Brussels sprouts were as a kid. “We were all forced to eat boiled Brussels sprouts… but now, deep-fried? Incredible. Incredible.”

Becky also lit up when the hosts brought up Ireland’s famous fish and chip shops—chippers. “A chipper chip is the one thing… I love a chipper… but there’s no chippers over here… I love a chipper.”

The group agreed that in Ireland, even gas station sausage rolls are elite. “Sausage rolls from gas stations… oh my God… stop the lights. Two of those and a cup of tea… right back to bed.”

As for dessert? Becky and her family are loyal to Salt & Straw. “We’re big Salt & Straw people… it’s fancy.”

But she still has a soft spot for Ben & Jerry’s, especially one classic flavor. “I remember when Ben & Jerry’s came to Ireland… I never moved past the Phish Food really… it was perfection… you get the little chocolate fishies… great.”
