Becky Lynch has taken her ongoing feud with WWE officiating to another level, revealing that she will not appear on the upcoming episode of WWE Raw scheduled for March 9.
The situation stems from Lynch’s continued frustration following her loss of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and her public accusations toward referee Jessika Carr. Over the past week, Lynch has repeatedly claimed Carr’s officiating has unfairly cost her matches, escalating the storyline through social media posts.
In a new update on March 7, Lynch shared screenshots on her Instagram Stories of posts from her Threads account where she suggested her sudden illness might not be a coincidence.
“It is VERY well known that I have an AMAZING immune system. So I find it EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS that after exposing CORRUPT CARR that she has been refereeing WITHOUT a referee’s license for SOME TIME NOW, I have become EXTREMELY SICK!!! My personal doctor calling it the WORST stomach bug he has ever seen. ABSOLUTE JOKE and PETTY PEARCE clearly sent their GOON SQUAD to poison me somehow! UNBELIEVABLE!!! (Luckily I will pull through) THEY CLEARLY WANT TO SUPPRESS THE TRUTH!”
The post continued with Lynch revealing that her illness will prevent her from appearing on the March 9 episode of Raw, which is set to take place at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
“Unfortunately, I won’t be at Raw this week to STOP this ILLEGAL gauntlet match from happening. BIG TIME BECKS WILL RETURN SOON!”
Lynch’s comments appear to keep the controversy alive as tensions continue to rise between her, Carr, and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. The storyline originally intensified after Lynch accused Carr of interfering in matches that led to her losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Meanwhile, AJ Lee remains the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion after forcing Lynch to submit at Elimination Chamber. With AJ expected to appear on Raw and Lynch now confirming she won’t be there, the situation leaves a major question hanging over Monday’s show. Lynch also hinted that her absence will only be temporary as she teased a return once the situation is resolved.
