During an appearance on ESPN First Take on January 30, 2026, Lynch was asked about AJ Lee’s recent comments on Hot Ones Versus, where AJ named her Mount Rushmore of modern WWE talent—and included Becky in the mix. But while AJ praised Lynch, she made it a point to separate her admiration for Becky from Becky’s personal life.

“It’s hard to only pick one from this. I could do a six of just this generation. They’re so good—Lyra, Roxanne, Rhea, Jade, Becky. I love Becky. Don’t you dare. Who she’s married to is not a reflection of who she is,” AJ said.

That led to CM Punk jumping in with a remark aimed at Becky’s husband, Seth Rollins, as he said, “I mean, it kinda is.” On ESPN, Becky finally addressed the moment—and turned the insult right back around at the couple as she claimed that AJ Lee has terrible taste in men.

“Well, all I can say is she does have wonderful taste in women—terrible taste in men. Awful taste in men.”
