Becky Lynch Roasts Nikki Bella With Brutal John Cena Reference During 8/4 WWE RAW

You can look, but you can’t touch Becky Lynch’s promo skills.

Becky Lynch retained the WWE Women’s IC Title in brutal fashion at SummerSlam. This week on RAW, she had a chance to follow up on that story.

The Man came out during the second hour of the show this week. She also had her brand-new entrance music by The Wonder Years.

Becky Lynch opened up her promo by saying that Lyra is gone, and she will no longer get any more opportunities, as she is the gatekeeper. Now it is time to open the floor for new competitors. Then Nikki Bella’s music hit and she came out.

The leader of the Bella Army came out to address The Man. She immediately got to work on her promo as she spoke about stepping away from WWE for so many years, and thinking that the women’s division was in good hands, but Becky Lynch “turned out to be such a disappointment.” Instead of “raising a generation,” she is “hand-picking them.” The Fearless WWE Hall of Famer then questioned why Lynch even came back. Then Nikki asked if Hollywood wasn’t what Lynch thought it would be. The Man then said that she has a role in Happy Gilmore 2, and Nikki Bella’s part in the movie got cut.

Nikki Bella then said that Becky is just like her husband, only people buy Seth Rollins’ BS. Lynch then warned Bella not to talk about her “hot husband.” Then she said that they are they are the greatest pro wrestling couple of all time, but that was once Nikki and her fiance, but “you can’t see him anymore.” That was an obvious, and brutal, reference to how Nikki Bella and John Cena were once a very hot couple.

Nikki Bella then demanded a Women’s IC Title shot, and she got the crowd doing the “yes” chant. That was odd to see that on WWE television again. Before Becky could answer, The Man nailed Nikki with a sucker punch before she left.

We will keep a close eye on this story, because you never know where they are heading. Becky Lynch’s attitude is certainly not going to get any better, as she is loving her time as a top heel in WWE.
