Becky Lynch is fuming—and she’s aiming her fire directly at Ariel Helwani after Iyo Sky was named Female Wrestler of the Year for 2025 by Uncrowned.

Shortly after the awards post went live on December 31, 2025, Lynch took to Twitter to rip Ariel for allegedly backing a decision she sees as totally undeserved. She didn’t hold back.

The tweet was in direct response to a post from @uncrownedcombat, which announced Iyo Sky as the 2025 Female Wrestler of the Year. The image showed Iyo topping the list over names like Mercedes Moné, Tiffany Stratton, and Rhea Ripley. Becky, despite a strong year, landed in sixth place—clearly a sore spot.

Uncrowned praised Iyo’s year, writing that “2025 seemed to unleash something brand new in her,” but Becky isn’t buying it. Instead, she accuses Helwani of losing touch with the business.

The fact that she called out Ariel by name—not Uncrowned—suggests she sees him as the voice behind the rankings. Whether that’s true or not, Lynch’s message was loud and clear: she thinks the whole thing stinks.
