Becky Lynch’s reaction to losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship has reached another level, as she followed up her boycott threat with a formal statement posted on Instagram demanding action from WWE officials.
After previously warning Adam Pearce that she may refuse to appear on RAW unless referee Jessika Carr was suspended, Lynch escalated the situation again on March 1, 2026. This time, she shared what appeared to be an official declaration from “Becky Believers HQ President Holly Hudson,” framing the controversy as a broader issue of fairness and integrity. Alongside the post, Lynch urged her supporters to rally behind her cause and amplify the message.
“PLEASE READ!!! SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY COMMENTING AND SHARING!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER - BTB”
The statement itself accused Carr of repeated interference and claimed Lynch was unfairly robbed of her championship. It went further by suggesting Carr’s officiating raises serious concerns about fairness inside WWE.
“Once again, Jessika Carr, in her role as WWE referee, has blatantly interfered in one of Becky Lynch's matches, leading to an undeserved and humiliating loss.”
“The repeated occurrences of interference in Becky Lynch's matches, mainly when Jessika Carr is officiating, raise serious questions about impartiality and fairness within WWE.”
The statement directly called on RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to take disciplinary action against Carr. It also encouraged fans to publicly support Lynch and pressure WWE leadership.
“We call upon Adam Pearce to take immediate action by suspending Jessika Carr for her repeated and unjust interference.”
“By commenting or reposting this, you stand with Becky Lynch and all Becky Believers who demand fairness and justice in professional wrestling… Please comment and share to force Adam Pearce to make the right decision.”
This just hours after Lynch warned she might not appear on the March 2 episode of RAW if action wasn’t taken. AJ Lee, meanwhile, remains the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion after forcing Lynch to submit at Elimination Chamber. With AJ confirmed to appear on RAW and Lynch now threatening to boycott while issuing formal statements, the situation appears far from resolved.
