Becky Lynch isn’t holding back about her legacy in the wrestling world.

In a recent interview with Variety, the former WWE Champion made it clear that she believes she’s the best female professional wrestler to ever step into the ring — and she’s got receipts to back it up.

“I’m the greatest female professional wrestler of all time, that’s not just me saying it,” Lynch stated. “There’s documented evidence, Sports Illustrated put out a list — Then there was a ‘20 Greatest WWE Wrestlers of All Time’ and of course, I was on that list. No other woman was on it, but I was.”

Lynch’s comments come after her dramatic return at WrestleMania 41, her first WWE appearance since May 2024. While her absence was initially intended to be a short break to focus on outside projects like Star Trek and Happy Gilmore, Lynch revealed that a last-minute skin condition prevented her from returning at the Royal Rumble.

At WWE Backlash, Lynch challenged Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship but came up short in her quest for gold. Despite the loss, Lynch made sure to leave her mark, brutally assaulting Valkyria after the match and sending a clear message that her feud with the champion is far from over.
