Becky Lynch has no time for double standards—and she’s calling out fans who want her to step aside while older male wrestlers keep thriving without criticism.
During her recent appearance on the RAW Recap show, the multi-time WWE Women’s Champion didn’t hold back when asked about her current run and how it compares to the evolving women’s division. Lynch made it clear she’s not slowing down—and she sees a serious issue with how veteran women are treated compared to their male counterparts.
“I’ll continue to do what I’m doing, I’ll be great. I’ll just beat all these younger and newer people. It’s not hard, but for some reason it seems to be hard,” Lynch said. “It seems to be harder on the women’s division. Like, look at the men’s — who do you got that’s hot and young over there? None. You got a bunch of old lads beating each other up.”
Then she really drove the point home. “Nobody’s saying, ‘Oh, move over CM Punk, move over Seth Rollins.’ Nobody’s saying that, but they’re saying it to me. So, who’s the bad guy? Why am I supposed to move over?”
Lynch isn’t budging unless there’s more gold on the table. “The only time I’m gonna move over is to make way for more titles.”
With her eyes locked on the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and her match against Lyra Valkyria at WWE Backlash, Big Time Becks is still hungry—and she’s not apologizing for staying at the top.
