Bayley Shuts Down Ashante Adonis After Weak Twitter Pickup Line

Ashante Adonis just struck out big time with Bayley after his half-hearted attempt to shoot his shot went down in flames.

Following his dramatic breakup with Karmen Petrovic on the April 29 episode of WWE NXT, Adonis decided to make a move on the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, but it did not go as planned.

Taking to Twitter, Adonis wrote, “Hey @itsBayleyWWE I Heard You Are Looking For Romance 🌹” — a bold move considering the timing. Adonis just got dumped on national television by Petrovic, who blindsided him with a breakup after weeks of tension.

Bayley, however, wasn’t about to let the half-hearted flirtation slide. After over a week of silence, she finally responded and instantly shot him down, tweeting, “You don’t even follow me brother. ✌🏼”

That one-liner sent a clear message — Bayley’s not here for meaningless DMs or weak attempts at romance, especially from someone she doesn’t even know. Adding salt to the wound, she referred to Adonis as “brother,” making it crystal clear she’s not interested in anything beyond friendship, if even that.

Since being removed from her scheduled WrestleMania 41 tag match due to a shocking backstage attack, Bayley has largely kept a low profile. While she’s stayed off TV, she’s clearly still paying attention to what’s happening on WWE social media, and she didn’t hold back in reminding Adonis that he doesn’t even follow her.

Adonis, who has been struggling to find direction in WWE since Hit Row disbanded, has been trying to rebound after Petrovic left him hanging. But his attempt with Bayley fell flat, and fans didn’t waste time roasting him for getting rejected so publicly.
