Could Bayley trade her boots for a headset in the near future? WWE’s Grand Slam champ just gave fans a glimpse into what life after in-ring action might look like—and it may include working behind the scenes, or heading to Mexico.
During a recent appearance on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, Bayley was asked point-blank whether she’d be interested in joining WWE’s creative or production teams once she retires. While the creative team didn’t appeal much, producing matches definitely caught her attention.
“I don’t know if I’d be good in the WWE writers’ room, creatively speaking. But producing? I’d enjoy that. I tried it—like this Monday, I sat in on the girls’ match, and I’ve produced some stuff in NXT. It’s really hard. I don’t know if I’d be a good producer right now.”
Bayley made it clear she wants to help the next generation, especially younger talent like Roxanne Perez.
“However long I wrestle, there are still girls I want to see grow in their careers. Roxanne Perez is only 23—so if I could be a producer and help produce her match, that would be awesome. I’ve thought maybe I should try to learn how to do that better, be part of it, and wear another hat. But creative-wise? That sounds scary.”
That’s when The Undertaker threw out a curveball—and a potential invitation.
“You might do alright. You speak Spanish?”
Bayley, intrigued, responded:
“A little bit. Do you need me in Mexico? I’ll be there.”
Taker didn’t back down, dropping a not-so-subtle hint at his current creative involvement with AAA:
“I mean, I know a guy down there. Always looking. It’s never too late, Bayley. I’m just saying.”
That’s all Bayley needed to hear.
“If you wanna book me in Mexico for AAA, hey—I’m coming. Just so you know, you heard it here first.”
While nothing’s official yet, Bayley’s willingness to step into AAA—and The Undertaker’s active role behind the scenes—has fans wondering what’s next. Whether it’s in WWE, NXT, or under the bright lights of a lucha libre arena, Bayley’s not slowing down anytime soon.
