Billie Starkz is gearing up for the biggest match of her career against AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné on AEW Dynamite, and she’s making it personal.

Taking to X, Starkz reflected on a decade-old moment with Moné and Bayley that’s now coming full circle.

“10 years ago I hit @MercedesVarnado because Bayley told me to at a show and my dad yelled at me until he realized I wasn’t just swinging to swing. This time I swing first for Athena and I swing hard for Bayley and I walk out TBS Champion for ME!”

The post referenced an old show where Bayley encouraged Starkz to take a shot at Moné, setting the stage for this long-awaited showdown. Starkz also resurfaced footage of herself appearing in the video package for Bayley and Moné’s NXT TakeOver: Respect Iron Woman Match. Now, she’s out to make her own history by dethroning Moné and claiming the TBS Championship.

Bayley, never one to stay quiet, wasted no time responding to Starkz’s post with a simple but effective message: “Beat her ass for me.”

With Moné set to defend her title tonight and another championship defense lined up against Kanji at RevPro High Stakes next month, she’s got a lot on her plate. But if Starkz has her way, Moné might not even make it to April still holding gold.
