Baron Corbin is done with WWE, but he’s not done talking about what led to his release. Now rebranded as Bishop Dyer, Corbin revealed on Busted Open Radio that he believes one individual played a key role in his exit—but he’s not naming names.

“I believe there’s one person that made this decision or influenced this decision, and I think that’s what put me in the position I’m in now,” Corbin said.

Despite being let go, Corbin isn’t bitter—he’s motivated. “I’m not gonna let one person control me or my fate or my destiny,” he continued. “Maybe it’ll come back on them, whoever that person is. I’m just not putting their name out there because I don’t need that negative energy.”

Before his WWE release, Corbin took a major pay cut to work in NXT, trading money for creative freedom. It was a move that Shawn Michaels personally convinced him to take, with the promise of working with Bron Breakker and rebuilding his career.

Now, Corbin is focused on proving WWE wrong and making the next chapter of his career even bigger. “I think I’m going to create some magic over the next year, two years. And who knows? Maybe that door will open again and they’ll say, ‘Hey man, come on back.’ But if they do, they’re not getting Baron Corbin. That man is dead. They’re getting Bishop Dyer.”

Baron Corbin isn’t looking back—he’s ready to prove WWE wrong and show the world what Bishop Dyer is all about. Whether or not that mystery decision-maker comes to regret letting him go, Corbin is making it clear—he’s in control of his own destiny now.

Could this be the start of his biggest run yet? Would you want to see him back in WWE, or is he better off forging his own path? Sound off in the comments!
