New backstage details have surfaced from this week’s WWE NXT episode, giving fans a look at who helped put the show together behind the scenes.

According to Fightful Select, several writers were assigned to key backstage segments throughout the April 7 show. Zach Hyatt handled the Robert Stone segment featuring Joe Hendry, Tony D’Angelo, Ricky Saints and Ethan Page, and he also wrote the backstage segment involving Tatum Paxley, Shiloh Hill and Ricky Saints.

Colby Applegate worked on the Robert Stone, Vanity Project and Blake Monroe segment, and also handled the Kali Armstrong vignette. Brandon Carroll wrote the segment featuring Elio Lefleur, EK Prosper and Dorian Van Dux, while George Carroll handled another Robert Stone segment that included Myles Borne. Johnny Russo was credited with writing Robert Stone’s NXT Revenge announcement, and Andrea Concepcion wrote the Lola Vice and Fatal Influence segment.

On the production side, several well-known names were assigned to matches. Johnny Moss produced Sol Ruca vs Izzi Dame, while Fit Finlay produced the triple threat match between Josh Briggs, Keanu Carver and Jasper Troy.

Steve Corino produced the tag team match featuring Tony D’Angelo, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page and Joe Hendry against DarkState. Oney Lorcan handled production duties for Chazz “Starboy” Hall vs Lexis King, and Terry Taylor produced the tag team match featuring Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill against Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake.

There were also a couple of missing credits. No writer or producer was listed for the opening promo segment that led into the early show brawl, and no writer was listed for Jaida Parker’s backstage vignette.

Internally, the show carried the title “New Champions, Same Target,” giving a small look at how WWE framed the episode behind the scenes. These backstage notes give fans a better idea of who is shaping NXT each week, even if most of the work happens far from the cameras.
