It was reported earlier today via Impact Wrestling that Eli Drake has signed a contract extension with the company.
In an update, PWInsider reports that he actually signed a long-term deal with the promotion, which means he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
There had been interest from WWE for Drake in the NXT brand, but he opted to remain with Impact. Drake was previously under a NXT deal back in 2015 but was cut.
