Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed didn’t just make a huge impression in front of the crowd at AEW All In. The new Trios Champions also went out of their way to win over the locker room backstage.
PWInsider reports that Kofi and Creed made a point of introducing themselves and meeting nearly everyone they could after the show. Several people within AEW came away extremely impressed by how the former WWE stars carried themselves.
There was no sense that Kofi or Creed believed they were above anyone because of their long WWE careers. Both men were described as extremely open when discussing creative ideas and equally approachable during their interactions with AEW talent and staff.
That backstage reception came after Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed made their AEW debuts as The New Level at AEW All In 2026. The duo were revealed as Swerve Strickland’s mystery partners in the Trios Royale Roulette at Wembley Stadium.
The surprise didn’t end with their entrance. Swerve, Kofi and Creed survived the chaotic match and walked out as the new AEW Trios Champions, giving The New Level championship gold on their first night with the company.
Kofi and Creed entered AEW with years of WWE success behind them, but they apparently arrived without bringing any ego through the door. Between winning the Trios Titles and making an immediate backstage impression, The New Level couldn’t have asked for a stronger start.
