Another wild and completely false rumor has been spreading in the wrestling world — this time targeting WWE NXT General Manager Ava, the daughter of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The fake post, which circulated on social media, claimed Ava had been in a “serious car accident” and even went as far as using a hospital photo of her, a somber shot of The Rock, and pictures of the two together to sell the hoax. The message began with “Sad news. 15 minutes ago, Dwayne Johnson’s family heartbrokenly announced that Johnson’s daughter, Ava Raine, was in a serious car accident on her way home.”
Ava wasted no time firing back on X to set the record straight. She called out the people behind the fake story directly, writing, “There is such a special place in hell for people who do stuff like this. Ya’ll are so weird.”
This comes just days after a similar false report circulated claiming longtime WWE referee Charles Robinson had died, proving once again that fake wrestling news is alive and well online.
It’s bad enough when rumors get out of hand, but when they target someone’s health and family, it crosses a serious line. Ava handled it fast, but the fact that these stories keep popping up shows just how reckless and damaging false reports can be.
