Austin Aries Signs New Deal with Indie Promotion

It doesn’t appear that Austin Aries will be returning to WWE anytime soon, as he revealed that he recently signed a six-month deal with an indie promotion.

The former WWE Superstar appeared at Monday’s Defiant Wrestling event in front of a sold out crowd at the Newcastle O2 Academy. Aries confronted Defiant Wrestling Champion Marty Scurll and revealed that he signed a six-month contract with the company.

After the main event match, Aries teamed up with Mark Haskins and Chris Ridgeway to attack Martin Kirby and Scurll.
