NXT Champion Asuka continued to work with the main roster this past weekend teaming with Becky Lynch and Tamina to defeat Natalya, Carmella and Alexa Bliss. There has been some speculation for months now that she would be called up to the main roster soon, however that’s not the case.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Asuka is scheduled to be in NXT for a while and there are no immediate plans to have her debut on RAW or SmackDown. She is scheduled to defend her championship title against Ember Moon on Saturday at NXT Takeover: Orlando.
