Asuka is never afraid to speak her mind on social media regarding any topic, but sometimes that can lead to criticism from fans. In fact, Asuka has now defended herself after people accused her of supporting AI art, among other things.

Asuka took to Twitter and pointed out how many people say AI is bad. She then noted how AI their fridge tracks groceries, their washing machine detects stains, their car provides driving assistance, and their robot vacuum cleans up after them. Their phone unlocks using AI, and their smart speaker responds to their questions, as she wondered how they can live without AI.

“AI is bad! they tell me. Meanwhile, their fridge manages groceries, their washing machine detects stains, their car assists their driving, and their robot vacuum cleans up after them. Their phone unlocks with AI, and their smart speaker answers their questions 🤣🤣🤣 So… how exactly do you live without AI? Going back to horses and candles? 🐎🔥”

A fan told Asuka that the problem is with generative AI because it takes information from the internet, mixes it together, and creates art or writing faster than any person can. They said this replaces real talent and makes it plagiarism.

“the problem is with Generative AI – like creating art or writing essays. This process rips information from the internet and blends it together to put out a “result” faster & with more resources that no human could replicate. It replaces skill & talent – which makes it plagiarism”

Asuka replied by saying that if AI copying information is plagiarism, then humans doing the same thing should be as well. She joked that, by this logic, all famous artists and writers should be canceled.

“Oh, I see! So when AI combines information, it’s plagiarism, but when humans do it, it’s creativity? 😂 Guess we need to cancel every great artist and writer in history then!”

A fan replied to Asuka, saying it was wrong to compare AI to real work done by people. They argued that AI-generated art is not real art but stolen work. As an artist, Asuka should understand this better than anyone. They expressed disappointment in seeing her take this stance.

“Of all things though… you’re trying to equate AI with ACTUAL work done by people. AI “art” is not art. It is the THEFT of art. As an artist yourself, you think you would understand this best of all. All of this stuff is so very disappointing to see from you.”

Asuka responded by clarifying that she never mentioned AI art. She pointed out that someone else was making assumptions and trying to connect it to the discussion. She challenged them to find where she talked about AI art, saying they wouldn’t be able to.

“I haven’t said a single word about AI art. Someone else is just jumping to conclusions and trying to tie it to this. Show me where I talked about AI art—because you won’t find it.”

The fan replied to Asuka, saying she should have known that people would immediately think about art when discussing AI. They also pointed out that other WWE wrestlers had previously used AI tools like Grok to generate images, making it easy to assume she was referring to AI art as well.

“Then you had to know art would be people’s main thought when it comes to AI discussions. It’s also not hard to infer when many other WWE wrestlers were using Grok or whatever else to make AI pictures before too.”

Asuka responded by questioning why AI discussions should always be about art when AI is also used in fields like medicine, finance, and engineering. She added that what other WWE wrestlers did had nothing to do with her and suggested that instead of making assumptions, people should check the facts first.

“Who decided that talking about AI automatically means talking about art? 🤔 AI is used in medicine, finance, and engineering too. What other WWE wrestlers did has nothing to do with me. Instead of making assumptions, maybe try checking the facts first? 😏”

A fan pointed out that many people misunderstood Asuka’s post. The original poster and others tried to correct her, but they all based their arguments on AI art—something she never mentioned in the first place.

“Yeah but you guys are missing the point. The OP is one of many people that tried to tell her she was incorrect and they all based of off AI art which is she was never talking about I’m the first place.”

Asuka agreed, saying the discussion was never about AI art, but people assumed it was because of their own biases. She noted that many were missing the real point and found it strange how quickly people jump to conclusions without actually paying attention to what was said.

“Exactly! The original post was never about AI art, but people assumed it was because of their own biases. They’re completely missing the point. It’s strange how quickly people jump to conclusions without truly paying attention to what’s being said.”

Asuka’s Twitter debate shows the ongoing argument about AI, especially in art and creativity. She never said she supports AI-made art, but many fans thought she did. Her comments ultimately led to a bigger discussion about how AI is used in daily life and whether it helps or harms human creativity, but The Empress of Tomorrow had to make sure she shut down accusations of supporting AI art no matter what.
