Asuka isn’t backing down after dropping the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the one-year anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.

After losing the titles to Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY during the January 5, 2026 live broadcast from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Asuka took to social media to share her mindset going forward—and she’s already eyeing another run with gold.

“Happy New Year! We’ve got another chance to seize the championship and break even more records. My believers, change your mundane perspective, and the view before you will transform. Negative people are just too gloomy. I can’t stand them.”

The Kabuki Warriors’ reign came to an end in front of over 14,000 fans, following a hard-hitting back-and-forth title match that featured brutal spots, including a Riptide/Moonsault combo finish that sealed the deal for the new champions.

Despite the loss, Asuka’s message shows she’s more motivated than ever—and determined to rewrite the next chapter in the tag team division alongside Kairi Sane.

Do you think The Kabuki Warriors will bounce back and reclaim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships? Or is it Rhea and IYO’s time to run the division? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we want to hear from you.
