Ash by Elegance has broken her silence after being slapped with a $5,000 fine by TNA Wrestling—and she’s not holding back about how she feels it was completely unfair.

During an interview on Busted Open After Dark with Denise Salcedo, Ash discussed the return of The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay) and her tag team title defense at Slammiversary. But things took a turn when she brought up a real-life confrontation that led to her being fined and forced to apologize by the company.

Ash revealed the incident went down at a meet-and-greet where she lost her temper after reportedly being provoked by Cassie and Jess. She flipped a table and disrupted some photos, but emphasized she never physically touched anyone.

“I ruffled a little bit of pictures. I flipped a table, but I never touched them. I never put my hands on them. I never disrespected them in any way. I just… I guess I let my anger, you know, build up and it exploded. But I didn’t cross the line. I didn’t hit anybody. I didn’t spit on anyone. I—I don’t understand. And then I get reprimanded. Like, come on now.”

What made things worse for her was the online footage that circulated after the incident. According to Ash, fans didn’t see the whole story—just her outburst, not the alleged comments made by The IInspiration beforehand.

“And now, like legit, I’m not even—I’m not even kidding—I have to pay $5,000 and I have to apologize. Like, come on. Like… what people don’t know is they didn’t see it. Like, they’re capturing footage from—I don’t know—other people, but they edit out what actually happened. You don’t—you don’t see them making side comments or remarks. No. You see me going over there and ruffling pictures and flipping a table. But like, let’s show and paint out the whole picture. And I’m the one that gets in trouble? Come on now. That’s—I take offense to that.”

Ash also described how blindsided she felt when she showed up to the next TV tapings and was immediately called into the office.

“I remember showing up to TVs that day and I was like seriously so happy. And they’re like, ‘Oh, we need you in the office.’ And I’m like, ‘The office for what?’ They’re like, ‘What happened yesterday?’ I’m like, ‘What do you mean what happened?’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, you flipped a table and caused a scene.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God… chill out.’”

“But why am I getting in trouble? Why isn’t anyone else getting a talking to? And they’re like, ‘No, you have to make a public apology because it’s going rapid fire on the internet.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God, you’re kidding me, right?’”

Now caught in a public relations storm, Ash feels like she was unfairly punished based on a viral moment stripped of context. Whether this affects her upcoming match at Slammiversary remains to be seen, but she’s clearly not letting this go quietly.
