Ash By Elegance is drawing a line when it comes to how and when fans approach her—and she’s calling out those fans who harass her at airports and hotels.
During an appearance on the Marks With Mics podcast, the TNA star didn’t hold back while addressing repeated situations where fans approach her in airports at extreme hours, saying the lack of boundaries is becoming a real problem. She first painted the picture of what those encounters actually look like, especially during early morning or late-night travel when talent is exhausted and trying to move quickly.
“Being at an airport at 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning, asking for photos and autographs—and putting your kids in the airport at 5:00 or 6:00, or at 11:00 or 12:00 at night after a show…”
Even with that frustration, Ash made it clear she still goes out of her way to acknowledge people—but there’s a limit. She then zoomed out to explain why those moments hit differently, pointing to the nonstop travel, tight schedules, and the need to mentally reset after shows.
“It’s like—I always stop and I always appreciate everyone, but come on. There’s personal space. And I think it has been addressed time and time again over social media—like, listen, we are trying to get home to our families. We’re trying to get home to, you know, maybe it’s another interview, or we just want to decompress and chill.”
Ash kept the focus on airport culture specifically, calling out how chaotic those environments already are—and questioning why fans push interactions in those moments. She then shared a real interaction that stuck with her, showing how some of these encounters aren’t even genuine requests, but setups from others.
“The airport lifestyle is very hectic at times. And it’s like, ‘Why is your kid at the airport at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning asking for us?’ I put a kid on the spot once—they came up to me, ‘Hi, can I have your autograph?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, do you know who I am?’ ‘No.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, well who sent you here?’ ‘Oh, my dad.’”
That moment clearly didn’t sit right with her, and she explained why putting a child in that position crossed a line. She even realized in the moment how disruptive the situation was becoming.
“I’m like, ‘Okay, well your dad could have come up and asked. He doesn’t have to have you standing here.’ I’m like, ‘Are you going to school?’ ‘No, not today.’”
From there, Ash made the bigger point—wrestlers aren’t just public figures, they’re dealing with real physical and mental strain after performing. She also brought up safety concerns, especially as a woman traveling alone, explaining how certain situations can feel uncomfortable or even threatening.
“So it’s like—just understand that we too are human. We go out of our way, above and beyond, when we’re at shows, when we’re at restaurants—it’s fine. There’s a time and place for everything, but just respect people’s personal space. Hotels too—like, I’m a woman, and if my husband’s not there with me, I get nervous when a male is trying to get my autograph. I’m like, ‘Are you following me to my room?’”
Ash boiled it down to one core issue—boundaries—and why they matter more than ever. She stressed that fans don’t always see what talent is going through behind the scenes, especially after physically demanding matches.
“It’s just—boundaries and personal space. Especially for the men—you don’t know what we’re going through. Our bodies just went through war. We’re mentally decompressing.
Just chill, you know. We always do meet-and-greets after every show. We’re always at conventions. We leave the parking lot and people are always out there and we’ll sign—but just, you know… chill on that.”
Ash isn’t rejecting fan interaction—she’s calling for respect in the right moments. With wrestlers more accessible than ever, the line between support and intrusion is getting thinner, and she’s making it clear that not every setting is fair game.
