Apollo Crews has been away from WWE television for a long time now after suffering an injury and while fans are waiting for his return, he has now provided a positive update on his recovery progress.
Crews took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of his pec as well as a couple of videos of himself at the gym, as he gave an update on his recovery from a pectoral injury, revealing that his rehab is going really well. He mentioned that while he didn’t deal with much physical pain, the mental side of the recovery was more challenging.
Crews noted that it took some time to regain confidence, but he’s now past that hurdle. Crews revealed he’s back to doing heavy chest workouts, and he says he’s focused on taking things one day at a time and putting in the work.
“Been crushin the rehab. Feeling good. I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened. I’m over that hump now. Just waking up taking it day by day and putting in the work.”
Apollo Crews last wrestled on the January 24 episode of SmackDown, where he squared off against Johnny Gargano. It was then revealed that he ended up suffering a pec injury, and he ended up having surgery for the same on February 4.
We have also reported that the current timeline for Apollo Crews’ return from injury is the end of July or the beginning of August this year. Therefore, fans will have to wait a while longer before Crews can get back into action but this latest update on his recovery progress has definitely made fans relieved that he is showing lots of improvement already.
