“F*** ICE” chants rang out loud at AEW Grand Slam Australia before the main event even got started.

On February 14, 2026, inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, fans began chanting “F*** ICE” during the in-ring introductions for MJF vs. Brody King. The chant started before the opening bell and quickly filled the arena, putting the focus on the crowd reaction as much as the match itself.

This is similar to what happened during the February 4 episode of AEW Dynamite in Las Vegas, where the same chant broke out ahead of MJF’s main event match. According to Fightful Select, AEW’s internal reaction to the Dynamite chants wasn’t negative.

With the chant now surfacing at multiple AEW events — both in the United States and internationally — it’s obviously becoming a constant talking point, especially around MJF main events and by the looks of it, the chants won’t be stopping anytime soon.

What do you think about the “F*** ICE” chants continuing at AEW shows, including Grand Slam Australia? Should the company address it directly or let the crowd reactions stand on their own? Sound off in the comments.
