WWE LFG’s May 4 episode ended with heartbreak for half the roster, including Anthony Luke, who was one of four men cut from the competition. But if you thought the elimination would rattle him, think again—he came out swinging with confidence.
Just moments after the show ended, Luke hit Twitter with a pointed message: “1 year in, already being compared to goats 🫡” The tweet was a direct response to Booker T’s critique during the show, where the Hall of Famer eliminated Luke and accused him of trying to be The Rock. “Everybody that’s ever tried has failed,” Booker said on air, making it clear he didn’t see Luke’s charisma translating to long-term success.
But for Anthony, that comparison was fuel. The 1-year pro isn’t backing down and clearly sees the feedback as validation that he’s already turning heads—whether the coaches agree or not.
His reaction added a new layer to the eliminations, which also saw Troy Yearwood, Elijah Holyfield, and Drake Morreaux sent packing. Combined with the earlier cuts from the women’s side, the final eight are now locked in as the show builds toward its finale at Madison Square Garden.
