AEW has stacked the deck for this Saturday’s Collision: Maximum Carnage, and the lineup looks like one of the most packed episodes of the year so far.
The show, taped in Phoenix and set to air January 17, will feature championship implications, major returns, debuts, and a long-awaited AEW in-ring comeback.
At the top of the card, Hangman Adam Page teams with JetSpeed’s Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight to challenge Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs for the AEW World Trios Championships. The bout is more than just gold—it’s personal. Page has vowed to take everything from Joe, and if he and JetSpeed succeed, they’ll be ending the longest AEW Trios reign in company history.
AEW is also heating things up for next week’s Dynamite, announcing just one match so far—but it’s a big one. Kenny Omega vs. Josh Alexander is now set after Don Callis delayed the match by a week to get in Omega’s head.
With Collision: Maximum Carnage delivering surprise returns, rising stars, and gold on the line, AEW’s first major TV block of 2026 is shaping up fast.
Which match are you most excited for on Collision: Maximum Carnage? Does Hangman Page finally get one over on Samoa Joe? Let us know in the comments!
