Aliyah’s WWE main roster debut came with a moment she’ll never forget—and not for the reason you might think.

The former SmackDown star revealed on during an appearance on Identity Crisis podcast that during her debut match, where she picked up a record-setting win over Natalya in just 3.17 seconds, things went downhill fast—physically. Right after the match ended, Aliyah said she became overwhelmed with emotion and heat, and ended up vomiting in the ring.

“Y’all know I threw up in the ring once, right?” she admitted. “It was my debut match… it was a tag match. So it was me, Sasha [Banks], and Trent versus Shotzi, Shayna, and Natty.”

She explained that everything hit her at once—crowd energy, nerves, and the atmosphere.

“I was overwhelmed. I felt truly enlightened that night. I got such a huge reaction after I got the roll-up on Natty. The crowd went nuts. COVID had just ended. I don’t think the AC was working in the arena because all I smelt was hot breath—like everyone standing.”

Aliyah started to feel woozy and tried to keep it together through the commercial break, but once the cameras turned back on, she made a split-second decision.

“I was just feeling so enlightened… and I remember I was starting to feel woozy. Then we went to commercial break… and when the screen came back on, I turned to the corner and started puking. There’s footage of it out there.”

As wild as that was, it didn’t end there. The aftermath left her with a pretty gross surprise the following week.

“I thought I cleaned my gear that night properly. So the next week, I go to take my gear out of my bag, and there was a chunk of puke still on the top.”

Aliyah didn’t shy away from the story—even laughing about it now—but confirmed that she “almost threw up on Sasha Banks” during the incident. Whether you’ve been a fan of Aliyah from her NXT days or just remember her from her short SmackDown run, this is one debut story that’s hard to top—literally and figuratively.

What do you think of Aliyah pushing through her WWE debut despite throwing up in the ring? Does this make her more relatable or should WWE have protected her more in the moment? Drop your thoughts in the comments below and let us know.
