Alice “Big Al” Crowley’s journey to becoming a regular on JCW Lunacy didn’t start with an audition or a tryout — it started with a phone call from one of the biggest names behind the promotion.

Speaking with Wrestling Epicenter, the young wrestling veteran explained how she first became involved with the Insane Clown Posse’s promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling. According to Crowley, her early appearances came after she was discovered and brought in to face Dani Mo.

“They found me! (laughs) I ended up working the first three episodes against Dani Mo. She ended up winning the belt.”

Despite those early matches, Crowley said she didn’t immediately become a regular fixture on the roster. After her first appearances, months passed without hearing anything from the promotion. Then everything changed with a surprise call from ICP’s Violent J.

“I ended up not working for them at all for a little while. Like, months. Then, I got a call and it was Violent J. He was like, ‘We want to start using you consistently.’”

The opportunity was an easy decision for Crowley, who jumped at the chance to become a full-time part of the company.

“I was like, ‘Really?’ What was I going to do? Tell him no? I was like, ‘Hell yeah! Tell me when! I’m coming!’”

Crowley explained that not long after that conversation, she began traveling with JCW regularly and quickly found herself immersed in the promotion’s unique style and atmosphere.

“And, literally, it was like, right after Vince (Russo)… I started traveling with them every show. I love working here!”

Since then, Crowley has continued building her profile within JCW, working closely with talent like Dani Mo while developing her character and chasing another run with the JCW Women’s Championship.

With the promotion continuing to grow through its Lunacy series on YouTube and major events like Stranglemania, Crowley’s role in the company appears to be expanding right along with it.
