Alexa Bliss isn’t letting contract drama keep her down. Hours after news broke that WWE and Bliss were at a standstill over renegotiations, the former Women’s Champion took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her life outside the ring, proving she’s focused on family first.
On January 23, Bliss posted an Instagram story showing her mid-flight, watching Frozen on the seatback screen with the caption, “Let’s go to New York!” and “Fun weekend ahead!” She tagged her husband, Ryan Cabrera, along with Exit 33 and Turning Stone, suggesting an exciting getaway was in the works.
In the next story, Bliss gave fans an adorable look at how her travel routine has changed, sharing a snapshot of her daughter enjoying some watermelon while watching Bluey on the in-flight entertainment system. The caption? “How we travel these days lol.”
Bliss’ latest posts come amid reports that WWE scrapped her planned January 13 return to RAW after she and the company failed to agree on contract terms. WWE reportedly wanted her to return under her current deal, which had time added due to her absence, while Bliss pushed for a new agreement. With no resolution in sight, WWE removed her from all creative plans, including a potential spot in the Royal Rumble.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding her WWE future, Bliss appears to be making the most of her time away, soaking up family moments and enjoying life outside the squared circle.
