Alexa Bliss is getting real about the challenges of motherhood — especially when it comes to trusting babysitters and traveling with a little one.

During a recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bliss didn’t hold back about how hard it’s been adjusting to life on the road and finding people she actually trusts to watch her daughter. When asked about trusting babysitters, Bliss admitted it’s not easy for her.

“I just like… I just like… I’m like, ‘I don’t trust everybody. I don’t trust anybody.’ You know what I mean? I’m like, ‘So, like, our parents watch her, you know, and… but… and then we have one babysitter that will watch her in LA.’ But that was a whole process of, you know, meeting her a few times and having her interact with Hrix a little bit and then our first trip was literally down the street and then back and just, you know, it was… I’m that crazy mother that I’m like, ‘Yes, I’m a healthy mom.’ I’ll admit it.”

Nikki Bella completely related, revealing she’s just as cautious when it comes to who watches her son.

“Same. I have now three girls that I trust. Um, but there’s… and Brie’s the same. I’m just so protective and it takes a lot to trust someone with your child for sure. And it’s like, I’ll say no to things just because I’m like, ‘No, if there’s not the right person watching him, I’m just not going to do it.’ Like, it’s just… he’s staying with me. He’s right here.”

Bliss also opened up about how traveling has changed now that her daughter is along for the ride — and it’s not as glamorous as it used to be.

“The travel’s a lot harder because she goes with me now. So that part’s a lot harder. Um, for me especially, I have to have her with me because when she’s not with me, I’ve realized that I’m constantly just like checking in, being like, ‘All right, how’s she doing? What’s going on? Send me pictures. Send me videos.’ And then if I don’t get those pictures or videos, I’m like, ‘I can’t focus on work.’ I’m like, ‘Is she okay? What are you guys doing? How’s… how is everything going?'”

Luckily, she has a close friend traveling with her to help.

“But when she’s with me, I’m like, ‘Okay, this is great.’ I have, you know, my friend Joey that travels with me and he watches her ’cause Ryan’s on the road every weekend. So, she comes with me and Joey’s with her and they’re just living their best life.”

But Bliss made it clear — traveling with a baby is no joke.

“And then… but the travel’s a lot harder because you have to… it’s… ’cause you know, before it was just as long as we have our gear and our ID, that’s all you really need. You know, gear and ID and you’re good to go. But now it’s… oh my God… it’s gear, ID, travel bassinet, diaper bag… go… enough stuff to last her, you know, a few days… and that… and yeah… it’s just so much… it’s… it’s more of like a… the travel’s harder.”

Bliss and her husband, musician Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their daughter back in 2023. While parenthood has brought its share of challenges, it’s clear Bliss wouldn’t trade it for anything.
