Alexa Bliss still keeps Bray Wyatt close — literally.
During her recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, the WWE star opened up about the small but powerful way she continues to honor Wyatt’s memory, months after his tragic passing. For Bliss, it’s about keeping him part of her journey — without making it feel like a public tribute every time she steps in the ring.
“That’s one of the things I try to always keep a part of it with me. I actually have a piece of his gear on my skirt. My skirt has a patch of his gear. And then we all have—I’ll grab it, one second—we all have these bracelets with his gear on it. So this is the gear that’s also on my skirt.”
Bliss explained that the bracelets — and the patch stitched into her ring gear — serve as quiet reminders of the man who helped shape not just her character, but how she approaches wrestling entirely.
“It’s… it’s how do we… how do we, you know, respect Windham’s vision and keep his memory alive without, you know, making it a tribute—making it more of like this is Alexa now, and this is part of her past that’s always going to be with her. But yeah.”
Bliss has been vocal about how working with Wyatt — real name Windham Rotunda — transformed her creatively. She credits him with teaching her to dig deeper into character work, embrace layers, and evolve beyond surface-level storytelling.
Her subtle tribute isn’t for attention. It’s a reminder — for herself, for his friends, and for the fans who know where to look.
