Alexa Bliss won’t be making her WWE return at the Royal Rumble—at least not if her current whereabouts are anything to go by.

Despite speculation that Bliss could be a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, PWInsider Elite reports that she is not in Indianapolis for the event. Instead, Bliss was spotted in Orlando, Florida, attending a concert where her husband, Ryan Cabrera, was performing. She was joined by former WWE star Mojo Rawley, who now manages her career through Paragon Talent Group, as well as WWE ring announcer Mike Rome.

Bliss hasn’t competed since the Royal Rumble back in 2023, where she lost a Raw Women’s Championship match to Bianca Belair before stepping away for maternity leave. While her return was originally slated for the January 13 episode of Raw in San Jose, those plans fell through due to a contract dispute.

According to reports, WWE wanted Bliss to return under the terms of her previous contract, but she and her team were pushing for a new deal with more money and additional perks. PWInsider notes that as of this weekend, there has been no movement on the negotiations, and there have been no discussions about her making an appearance at the Royal Rumble.

With no deal in place, Bliss remains on the sidelines, and it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon. The question now is—will WWE and Alexa Bliss find common ground, or is this the beginning of a standoff that keeps her out even longer?
