AJ Styles is officially in Indianapolis, and with the Royal Rumble just hours away, speculation is running wild about whether The Phenomenal One will make his long-awaited return to the ring.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Styles has been spotted in the city hosting the Royal Rumble, but there’s still no confirmation on whether he’s been cleared to compete.

Styles has been out of action since October 4, 2024, after suffering a Lisfranc injury during a match against Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown. The injury came just as Styles was making his comeback from another extended absence, turning what was initially believed to be a minor issue into a much longer recovery process.

Styles addressed the injury on social media a while back, posting on X that the road back has been “challenging.” WWE has remained quiet on his status, but recent reports indicated the company was hoping to have him cleared in time for the Rumble.

Now that he’s in town, all eyes are on whether his name will be called when the countdown hits zero. WWE is known for pulling off massive surprise returns, and few comebacks would get a bigger reaction than Styles stepping back into the ring for the Rumble.

The big question now—will AJ Styles be a surprise entrant, or is he simply in town to support the show? With hours left until the event, the speculation won’t stop anytime soon.

Do you think AJ Styles is about to make his big return, or will the wait for The Phenomenal One continue? Drop your thoughts below!
