AJ Styles Named Longest Reigning SmackDown Champion

AJ Styles has set a new milestone for the SmackDown Live brand.

Styles, who has been WWE Champion for 281 days now, has surpassed JBL as the longest reigning World Champion to be exclusive to the SmackDown Live brand.

Styles is currently scheduled to defend the WWE Championship title against Samoa Joe at the upcoming SummerSlam event. It will be interesting to see if he can retain the title come Sunday’s show.
