The Phenomenal One is coming home — and it’s happening on a massive stage

AJ Styles will officially return to TNA Wrestling during the TNA Impact on AMC premiere set for Thursday, January 15th. While his exact role hasn’t been revealed, his mere presence is enough to set the wrestling world on fire.

This marks Styles’ first TNA iMPACT appearance in 11 years, following his surprise endorsement of Leon Slater at TNA Slammiversary.

TNA’s premiere episode on AMC is already loaded with championship bouts and headline-worthy matches, and Styles’ return gives it that added must-see factor. Here’s the current card for the January 15 premiere:

  • TNA World Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Mike Santana
  • TNA X Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Myron Reed
  • Six-Man Tag: Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy & Elijah vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch & John Skyler)
  • TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: The IInspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee) (c) vs. The Elegance Brand (M by Elegance & Heather by Elegance, w/ The Personal Concierge)
  • AJ Styles to appear

Whether AJ Styles is showing up to wrestle, speak, or scout talent, his return to the company that helped define his legacy is a huge statement — especially as TNA ramps up its national profile on AMC.

This appearance also raises the question: is this a one-off… or the beginning of something bigger? TNA is clearly putting everything on the table for its AMC debut — and bringing back AJ Styles might just be the ace move to launch a new era.
