AJ Mana is finally naming names in the brutal Syko Stu assault scandal—and he’s now blaming the promoter behind the August 23 KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event for how the whole thing spiraled out of control.

Mana, who was caught on a Kick livestream telling Raja Jackson to “give Stu a receipt” moments before the real-life attack unfolded in-ring, has already lost both his wrestling gig and his day job over the incident. But in a newly released clip from the F Y’all Podcast, Mana is shifting some of the heat away from himself and putting it on the man running the show that night.

According to Mana, it was the promoter who pushed to incorporate the chaotic real-life brawl into the storyline once the cameras were already rolling.

“Don’t you all think I’m trying to justify what was done. By no means am I trying to justify this sht because it was fcked up. It was fcked up from the start. The finish was all fcked up. That wasn’t even a part of the story but let me get to that.”

Mana says the promoter saw the footage and made a snap call to roll it into the actual match booking.

“Promoter says, since because this is already on camera, and you can go watch it for yourself because the tape never stopped running, since this was already on film, let’s go ahead and use it. Let’s make it part of the show.”

Mana claims the promoter instructed him to help figure out a way to make it work.

“I’ll give you a chance to go on during his match and you know, you get your lick back. See, I said receipt, I didn’t say lick back. I said, receipt.”

He then demonstrated what he meant by punching himself in the face during the podcast.

“That’s a receipt btch. That’s all I told Raja to do! That was the only thing I told Raja to do was to give him a fcking receipt because that’s what the promoter wanted to do.”

He also made it clear he was not the one who planned or endorsed the full-scale beatdown.

“The promoter sent me away with Raja to work out the details. Watch the video. I didn’t tell him to go beat that man. One punch. You all dumb as fck.”*

The fallout has been severe. Mana says he was fired after TMZ footage of the incident circulated and that he’s done with wrestling for now. KnokX Pro has reportedly been removed from WWE’s ID program, and the LAPD is still investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Syko Stu remains hospitalized, recovering from serious head injuries.

This latest update throws a whole new twist into the situation—one that could further complicate any legal or civil fallout still to come.
