AJ Lee isn’t just back on WWE television — she’s officially loading into WWE 2K26.

After weeks of speculation about whether she would be included in the upcoming video game, AJ confirmed the news herself in a recent Instagram story, revealing she had quietly been scanned for WWE Games months ago. In her post, AJ shared her reaction to being featured in the new title, writing:

“Secretly got scanned for @wwegames a few months back. Game AJ looks so legit. 14-year-old AJ’s mind is still blown to go from Character Creation menu to an actual playable character in two different decades of 2k haha what is life”

That message confirms she will be a playable character in WWE 2K26 — marking her first appearance in a WWE video game since 2K15. The timing makes sense. AJ returned to WWE television again on the February 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, where she confronted Becky Lynch and secured a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber. With WWE 2K26 set to release on March 13 and featuring a CM Punk Showcase mode, AJ’s inclusion now feels like a major part of the rollout.

Her scan took place months ago, meaning this return was in the works long before fans caught wind of it. The confirmation also puts to rest any doubts about whether her likeness would make it into the game following her surprise comeback in September 2025.
