AJ Lee and CM Punk have been married for over a decade, but when it comes to working together, they don’t always see eye to eye. While CM Punk recently claimed their secret to a healthy relationship is avoiding collaboration, AJ is now suggesting she’s open to the idea.

During her appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, AJ joked that not working together might be what’s kept them happily married for 12 years. But she didn’t shut the door on the possibility of teaming up with her husband down the line.

“Oh my gosh, I think the key to being married for 12 years is that we don’t work together. [Laughs] But yeah, it’d be really cool. ‘Never say never’ is what I say to all the things when people ask me where I’m going to work. But yeah, he’s a really good writer and a really good artist — acting and wrestling.”

Her comments are notably different from what Punk told fans during a recent appearance, where he doubled down on the idea that keeping work and home separate is non-negotiable.

“There are really two things me and my wife don’t do together. One is to work out and the other is to work together. It’s really the perfect relationship.”

While Punk may be sticking to his two golden rules, AJ Lee seems more flexible, especially if the right opportunity comes along. Fans have been hoping for the couple to collaborate ever since AJ stepped away from WWE and later reemerged in other media roles.

Both Lee and Punk have strong fanbases, and anything they work on together would instantly grab attention. For now, there’s no confirmed project, but AJ’s latest remarks leave the door wide open.
