AJ Francis Addresses Potential NXT Appearance Amid WWE-TNA Collaboration

AJ Francis was released from his WWE contract last year, but he has since become a big deal in TNA Wrestling. With WWE’s current collaboration with TNA Wrestling gaining more momentum, he has now addressed potentially returning to WWE again as part of their collaboration.

While speaking to Wrestleholics, AJ Francis was asked about possibly returning to WWE, especially with WWE’s partnership with TNA. He stated he would love to work with NXT and be in the Royal Rumble, adding that WWE has his number since they fired him twice before.

“I would love to do some work at NXT and go back to WWE. That would be great. I’d love to be in a Royal Rumble, but they’ve got my number. They had it the two times they fired my ass.”

Francis also said he would like to help Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford, and B-Fab, who he feels are having a tough time on TV. He joked that they keep getting “jumped and getting their ass whooped” and that he would love to back them up. He also mentioned wanting to help Ashante with his current storyline and be there for his friends.

“I’d love to help Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins and B-Fab. Because they seem to be getting jumped and getting their ass whooped. They need a little backup, you know? I’d love to come help Ashante too. You know, he’s got a little love triangle situation going on. I’ve seen how that pans out for a lot of men. So, I’d love to be there and have my brothers’ backs in that situation.”

We’ll have to wait and see when AJ Francis will return to WWE, as he’s currently enjoying his time in various other promotions in the meantime, but there is no doubt he would find great success back in WWE as he has truly honed his craft and become the best version of himself now.
